mytarpit: Clay Safari 04

"Print in 3D" @ the F.E McWilliams gallery in Banbridge. A group show with Seacourt Print Workshop. These are photos of my sculpture. All pieces are silkscreen on Fabriano paper, and 2 digital prints on Somerset enhanced. Then all assembled over 3 months with my own fair hands...phew!

Clay Safari 04

I've been working on these pieces for the length of my residency so far. They are sculpted with a 213 porcelain, with underglaze and fired to cone 06. Love these guys, they very much follow in the foortseps of the 'Elementals' work that I have done..and there are more to come...

....for some reason the name Vernon keeps springing to mind.

Ther are 2 more Vernons in the pipe line to complete the tale, I'll post pictures when they are ready.

EXCHANGE GALLERY 02

This is the second gallery of Mytarpitters in the 200 words project. I decided to keep these guys real bold and simple. They are black acrylic over the top of a glo-in-the-dark base layer.
