"Print in 3D" @ the F.E McWilliams gallery in Banbridge. A group show with Seacourt Print Workshop. These are photos of my sculpture. All pieces are silkscreen on Fabriano paper, and 2 digital prints on Somerset enhanced. Then all assembled over 3 months with my own fair hands...phew!

Clay Safari - 01

Wow....it's been a month and I've been so busy and enjoying my immersion in the world of clay that I have been neglecting my blog..but hey.

We've been made so welcome by everyone here, and they have been so encouraging. We've been intoduced to so many wonderfully supportive people. In our second week we were invited to a workshop by Jason Walker, and it was truely inspirational and it unlocked a few doors for me. Jason also comes from an Illustration background, and showed me how you can use underglaze like inks...BINGO.... His pieces are so beautifully thought out and crafted - he showed me some techniques which has certainly made my relationship with clay a lot easier.

So, my first piece that I'm working on is a tile assemblage. As I type these are in the kiln, so fingers crossed.

EXCHANGE GALLERY 02

This is the second gallery of Mytarpitters in the 200 words project. I decided to keep these guys real bold and simple. They are black acrylic over the top of a glo-in-the-dark base layer. And I took the photos in my lovely back garden...ENJOY! (And remember one of them could be yours for just 200 words!)
