mytarpit: Yeti

"Print in 3D" @ the F.E McWilliams gallery in Banbridge. A group show with Seacourt Print Workshop. These are photos of my sculpture. All pieces are silkscreen on Fabriano paper, and 2 digital prints on Somerset enhanced. Then all assembled over 3 months with my own fair hands...phew!

Yeti

Right....by the time you read this I will be in Washington DC starting my 3 month ceramic residency...BUT just before I left I was commissioned to "customize" some paintings for a good friend and the new licensee of a great new Belfast bar. So this is the first of of 6 new works that I painted. I loved doing these, I lost myself in them and I am incredibly proud of them. This is a series of photos showing how the "Yeti" came about, it wasn't preplanned or sketched out... it just happened.

EXCHANGE GALLERY 02

This is the second gallery of Mytarpitters in the 200 words project. I decided to keep these guys real bold and simple. They are black acrylic over the top of a glo-in-the-dark base layer. And I took the photos in my lovely back garden...ENJOY! (And remember one of them could be yours for just 200 words!)
