Oh No! part 3

YaY! I finished my artworks for the oscillations show....

...........I'm pretty pleased with them both even though I ran out of time. I loved painting on the found wood, trying to keep all the cracks and splits and peeling bits intact. I am also delivering some of the other artists works to the show... so here's a sneek (I'll drop in links to their websites after the jump).

As you can see the other artists, work has really raised the bar, and I had to raise my game a few notches which is why I love these collaberative shows. ART ROOOOOAAR!!!!

Hangin' on for dear life!

This little Tarpitter spent 6, yes SIX, months out in the Brighton wilderness... until the lovely Hannah came along....

Look how happy he is! And judging by her email Hannah is pretty stoked too! RESULT!

For our new art project, we were sent on a quest around brighton to take some photos of 'urban decay and steet art'
On my mini adventure i found some great graff... and just as i was walking back to meet my class mates (late of course) I walked past one of the big graffitti walls in the lanes.. There i stood for a while and took some photos.. i also gathered in some old spary can tops,, a pice of the wall which has  broken off. and to my excitement, the lovely lettle canvas which was fixed to the wall with velcro :D everyone in my class loves my little canves, and thy were all very jelous. It now takes pride of place on my bedroom wall. I totoally love the idea, think its genius! so a BIG thankyou for my little blue creature :) and i hope that others are just as pleased as i was to recieve sucha wonderful gift!

Oh No!....part 2

Managed to get time to fill in some colours.

200 words... 2nd Gallery has all gone!

Wow! It always takes me aback how quickly these free canvases go. Well, I say free but all you have to do is exchange 200 of your own hand written words for one of the canvases..simple!
Instead of PayPal, I use PenPal.
The last canvas to go was Smokey Jo Blow:

Anyway, time to get cracking on the 3rd Gallery. These canvases are going to be influenced by the first 10 sets of 200 words that I received. Should be fun!

Oh No! Part one.....

These are the start of 2 pieces for the "Oh No!" exhibition which is part of the Oscillations Festival which runs for the whole of Sept. in the Black Box, Belfast.
