this time next week it'll all be over...

Yip, 7 days to go.
We had a meeting today and it was revealed that we don't have as much time in the Ulster Hall to paint the walls as we thought...i.e we have about 2 days!!! But I'm thinking that 's a good thing...focuses the mind and all that!
The paintings are going well, and I've had a day of positive messages from dear friends (Mr.Pee and Conor you know who you are!) and a beautiful day basking in the light of Rockpool Candy's creative sun.. she rocks!
Let me qualify that, I can't think in 3D... I've tried and it turns out crap. Rockpool Candy on the other hand is a freckin' genius at realising ideas in 3 dimensions. Stupidly i didn't get the whole process on film, but in the space of 2 days she transformed one of my paultry doodles into...MONROE..

..how f**king cool is that. He will be taking pride of place in the show of course!
It's going to be an interesting couple of days, i think I've got past the creative block... so it's just a battle against the clock now.

I won't bore you with my state of mind at the minute, but I will apologise for not keeping a proper countdown on my blog. It really was my intention to document the preparation for the show on a daily basis but 1) I never quite found the time to sit down and blog about it, 2) the lack of momentum with some of the pieces was to depressing to write about/ remind myself about.. and 3) I've been secretly having a ball with the lovely Rockpool Candy at:
The Supreme Broship art show in London where we hooked up with the 8-Bit crew for a few days ...

..... and participating in the underground madness that was CRACK! in Rome...
