- This is the second gallery of Mytarpitters in the 200 words project. I decided to keep these guys real bold and simple. They are black acrylic over the top of a glo-in-the-dark base layer. Utter Filth!
Ha,hA! How cool is this!
I've persuaded Filth to do 3 canvases for me that I'll include in my next drop.....which is happening this week. Top drawer ink-manship I think you'll agree!
This is a criminally short entry about a real talent but I've gotta hop on a plane..SO..

Hills
While I was walking about the other night scouting for future drop spots I encountered a wandering artist of no fixed abode called Hills. He asked for some spare change and in return he wanted to give me one of his sketches. He took out a wad of small papers, thumbed through them, like they were dollar bills, and gave me this fella. He is now pinned up over my drawing board as inspiration. Cheers Hills!

BOO!
I'm really pleased with this little guy.
I found lovely brushes that I can get a really good consistant thick/thin line with and you don't get those rogue brush hairs that f**k up your lines ( Winsor and Newton's Cotman 000).
Of course this little guy will be out for grabs soon...watch the skies!

Meet your marker!.. part deux...
It's brilliant that at long last Sharpies are finally available over here in the UK. I remember having to pay mad postage rates and wait for weeks to get them from the good 'ol USA.
A word of warning though... they can be a double edged sword. They are fantastic for drawing out designs ,on say ...canvas, that you can then paint over and you'll still be able to see your lines. I've put six coats of white acrylic over black Sharpie lines and they still shine through (it's something to do with Sharpies being spirit markers)..so if you make a mistake with them it's a hard job to paint over them...unless you plan ahead and use blue with blue...
