Of course this set works the same way as the first....
1. Click HERE to see more detailed pictures of the canvases (or click on the gallery icon in the left hand column)
2. Email me and tell me which canvas you would like (first come first served... well first into my inbox first served!).
3. I email you the PDF of the t&c's for you to print and sign (you can look at them on the column on the right).
4. You post this to me with your lovely 200 hand written words (MUST be hand written!) via snail mail (please don't email me scans.).
5. When I receive them I post you your canvas, and put your words in the Gallery next to your new house mate. Please note that if I do not receive your 200 hand written words (2 weeks for UK post, and 4 weeks for outside the UK), I will email you to remind you and if I still don't receive them then I will put that canvas back up for grabs.
What's it all about?
- It's simple! If you would like one of canvases you see here that are hand-painted by me...I'll exchange it for 200 words that are hand-written by you!!

- Yes, it's really that simple! If you would like to exchange your words for one of my canvases then:
- 1. Just email me to say which canvas you would like. (One canvas per person I'm afraid, and it is first come, first served.)
- 2. I will email you a PDF of the t&cs for you to print out and sign. (You can view them in the right-hand column.)
- 3. You then send this to Tarpit Towers along with your 200 hand-written words. N.B they MUST be hand-written.
- 4. Once your words arrive, I will post your canvas out to you!
- 5. I will publish your 200 words alongside your canvas in the gallery. Your words will then be the inspiration to create a new canvas.
* Please note
- In order to help the project's flow, once you've successfully applied for a canvas, you have 14 days (UK) or 28 days (outside the UK) to get your 200 words to Tarpit Towers. After this time your canvas will be put back up for exchange.

- This is the second gallery of Mytarpitters in the 200 words project. I decided to keep these guys real bold and simple. They are black acrylic over the top of a glo-in-the-dark base layer. And I took the photos in my lovely back garden...ENJOY! (And remember one of them could be yours for just 200 words!)

None left in the first gallery!!!
Yip, Thanks to the lovely Karin all the canvases in this first gallery have been given new homes. So time for me to finish the second batch of canvases. There will be 10 canvases in this second gallery. Thanks to all of you who took the first jump into the 200 words project! Watch these skies for the second coming!

..And we're off and running!
Okay, I'll admit it... I was bricking it yesterday doing the live launch of 200 words. But it went really well!
A lot of people loved the idea even if they weren't prepared to sit down and write the words there and then. So out of the first 12 canvases.... 5 were given new homes! And here are the canvases that are left:
So if YOU want to give one of these guys a new home then all you have to do is email me and tell me which one, remember FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.
It really is that easy.
All you have to pay for is the cost of a stamp to send me your 200 words (the right and left hand column should answer any questions you have but feel free to ask any and I'll stick up a FAQ link). This project has just begun so please bear with me if there are any teething problems.

The First Gallery - A Live Start
Welcome to 200 words!
This is sooo exciting!
To start this project off I'm taking the first 12 canvases to the Black Market, Belfast on 10th May, where I'll be exchanging them for 200 of your hand written words.
Any canvases left after that will be the first to be up for grabs via this site.
The only set back is that the Post Office haven't given me my P.O Box number yet, so it's business as usual but there might be a slight delay in the process while the P.O Box is set up.
T&C's
- Because I want to publish your gorgeous 200 words on the website, and use them in future Mytarpit projects (to be announced), anyone who wishes to take part in an exchange will be asked to agree to the following:
- 1. The writer gives an assurance that the words are of their own original generation and not copied in any way that infringes the rights of other writers or publishers, and have not been offered for publication or already published elsewhere.
- 2. The writer shall assign to Mytarpit all copyright in the written words. Maytarpit shall then have all rights to reproduction now and in the future in any media including, but not exclusively: printing, Internet, CD Rom, DVD, television and video usage.
- 3. Mytarpit shall give full credit to the writer wherever the words appear.
- 4.Provision of name and contact details are obligatory, BUT addresses shall never be disclosed beyond State/County and Country.
