I've just blocked in some of the blues over a few greens I laid down... the greens didn't give me the flat colour I wanted, the blues are working really well. I wish I could open a window though!

2 days to go... Really! 11 am

Yea, I know I've already said 2 days to go, but I was obviously high on Flowpen! It's even warmer with even less airflow in the Ulster hall today so crickey only knows what my blogs will be like later!
First base colors have been put on.
Ha, ha, after the Eoughyujn Quog concert (?) last night this place is full on disgarded acrylic nails!

3pm....

Got the main outline blocked in with a 0.6 inch nibbed Flowpen. It goes on a treat, and it'll probably only take 2 passes to make it a solid black. It's drying really quick due to the fact that there is not a jot of feckin' air in here... should make using the cans tomorrow a hoot!
Eugougjuon Quigg update... He is still practising really hard and the lobby is full of squealing Quigglets, job done I'd say!

D-Day.
12pm and time to get some lines down. I must admit I don't remember the Walls being this big in the Ulster Hall. And to make things even harder Euooughugn Quigg ( best loser in the X-Factor apparently) is having a sound check in the main auditorium.... Slayer volume 10 on my iPod methinks!

Yip, 7 days to go.
We had a meeting today and it was revealed that we don't have as much time in the Ulster Hall to paint the walls as we thought...i.e we have about 2 days!!! But I'm thinking that 's a good thing...focuses the mind and all that!
The paintings are going well, and I've had a day of positive messages from dear friends (Mr.Pee and Conor you know who you are!) and a beautiful day basking in the light of Rockpool Candy's creative sun.. she rocks!
Let me qualify that, I can't think in 3D... I've tried and it turns out crap. Rockpool Candy on the other hand is a freckin' genius at realising ideas in 3 dimensions. Stupidly i didn't get the whole process on film, but in the space of 2 days she transformed one of my paultry doodles into...MONROE..

..how f**king cool is that. He will be taking pride of place in the show of course!
It's going to be an interesting couple of days, i think I've got past the creative block... so it's just a battle against the clock now.
